Cecelia opened her eyes suddenly and looked at Altair with a soft smile "Oh she's just very old now, and back with my parents. Sorry, I made that seem much more morbid. I just guess, I don't count her as mine anymore really, since then. So past tense made sense to use." she felt very flustered and knew he could tell, she rubbed one of her cheeks, and took a bite of some of the fruit. "Thank you." she muttered and felt the warmth on her cheeks, hoping he couldn't tell she was blushing. He was sitting across the way, making that face and she groaned slightly, thinking about the women he'd likely brought home recently, the intense way he probably grabbed them with his big, strong, hands. Those arms, those lips, against her neck, against her..she nearly dropped her plate and just looked away "Maybe we should all close the office early for today, I mean why not? But then again..there's so much to do it always seems.." she said just trying to distract and change the subject. "Your dog sounds wonderful though."

Lacey took the time to stand and cross to hug Mario, setting down her lunch a moment. "Oh my gosh! You actually came up! Thank you. I appreciate you spending this time. No one else has really bothered to talk to me today. I get it, we're all busy. But sometimes, you just need people." she nodded and took a drink for a moment. "So, how has your day been? I hope better than mine at the very least." she crossed her legs and then uncrossed them fidgeting a little. "I mean it's not too hard to have a better day than mine, I'll tell you that. But, I'm sure you've had a busy day as well, mail is always coming in here, a lot this week it would seem." she clammed up to eat some lunch.

Declan strolled in to pick up his carry out from the sushi place. And he was told it would be a few more minutes, and to just pick a place to sit. He pulled out a chair from a table and sat down folding his arms before him on the table content. But just then he spotted a newly familiar face "Are you stalking me?" he teased and waved over at her grinning a little. "Best place in town, let me tell you. I hope you try a few things at least, you won't regret it." he couldn't believe his chance of luck running into this gorgeous woman again twice in a day.

Altair chuckles at his mistake and shakes his head, "Oh, I apologize for the assumption. I bet that she would love to see you though. Animals aren't really known for forgetting their strong feelings towards other beings. She would probably be so excited she would knock you over in gleeful bliss." He frowns a bit, "Hey, are you getting sick? You looka bit flushed and hot?" He walked over and puts his hand on her forehead, frowning even more, "Well you don't feel like you have a fever but I would take an AlkaSeltzer just in case. I think we all deserve a nice early day and the work can get done at anytime. Deadlines just makes everything stressful. People aren't robots; they, too need rejuvenation." He eats the last of his fruits and threw the plate away before grabbing a water and opening it. He drinks a little and some spills from his mouth, dripping down his chin and down his neck as it spills onto his shirt, "My dog is really great. I kind of miss him a little. I also have a cat. She and my dog are like brother and sister. It's too cute."

 

 

 

Mario hugs her back, a bit surprised but also a little happy about it. He smiles softly and shakes his head, "I wouldn't have not come. That would be rude considering I invited you and skip those people, they don't matter. They are just a bunch of low lives who aren't able to show respect without someone having a title." He pulls away and pulls up the ice cream, "I got the ice cream and my day has been a bit monotonous. I just organize and deliver mail twice a day. We get a lot of it and there's many mailmen because of it. We even got a new mailwoman today." He took a seat to eat his lunch, "Yeah we did get a lot of mail this week but we have enough people and an efficient way so it didn't feel like a lot." He started to eat his lunch, "So what is it that you do exactly?"

 

 

 

Ioana was a bit overwhelmed with the choices but she saw her favorite and some she didn't know and decided to get a mixture of both. She looks across the restaurant and sees that she's the only one eating lunch by herself. She sighs, it wasn't her fault she couldn't reallt relate to anyone since she's got her but man does she feel a bit lonely...She sighs a bit looking back at the menu before hearing Declan. She looks up and smiles brightly, "Oh hello there and no, I believe it's you stalking me considering I was hear first, she jokes back. Ioana smiles and nods, "Oh, I love trying new things and there's some here I haven't even heard before." She bites her lip before gesturing to the seat in front of her, "You can join me if you would like to, no pressure."

Cecelia watched him carefully, pouring over his words but also feeling her pale skin flush again at him spilling his water. She cleared her throat again, his hand was warm when it had touched her forehead and she was having a hard time clearing her thoughts. Before nearly spilling her plate again, she finished her fruit, licking a stray trickle of juice from the corner of her mouth and then crossing the room, she neatly tossed out the utensils. She walked back and forth a little, thinking about the proposal of closing early for the evening, and she shrugged finally. "It's settled then. We'll close early for once, and you and I are going to the aquarium, they're holding a mild party for fundraising and I hate going to these things alone." she nodded and smoothed a crease out of her skirt with a small grin, how much trouble could a casual, formal event cause? Surely they'd be fine going, plus she hadn't been in a male's company alone in months, and they'd be surrounded by plenty of people. She glanced at him again and bit her lip a moment but stopped before he looked up again. "I'll pick you up, or my driver will rather..at around eight?

Lacey laughed at him a little and took a spoon to play with while she thought about digging into the icecream, it was against her strict working out schedule, but a little couldn't hurt. She took the top off and took a small bite before answering his question, "Oh, I work in insurance! And billing. So I'm always working on numbers, and sometimes relations to companies." she grinned and licked her lips a moment, enjoying the icecream, she couldn't think of the last time she'd indulged like this. "But, they will eat you up in this office, if you show weakness, so today..well I don't often let these types of days slip, around the wrong people you know?"

Declan grinned and pulled out the chair before him to join her. "Oh I've had everything here, at least once. I recommend that one, it's colorful too." he said leaning over and pointing to a foreign named food on the menu. He grinned and didn't even pick up his menu, he seemed to know just what he wanted, and ordered accordingly when the waiter came by. "I would by no means, consider running into a pretty lady unexpectedly at my favorite place, stalking. But we all call it whatever we like hmm?" he teased and took a long sip of his ice water before leaning forward with good posture and looking her over carefully "You've got good taste though, so that's always a starting point with me." he shrugged with a little cheeky pout of his lips, grinning and then glanced again away.

The only reason they know it is because it was on the note. She's a very eery girl who everyone is a little bit scared of because of her vibe. Everyone just thought it was an ordinary accident. Tamera stays "happy" in order to stay in control of her powers. She's the girl next door type, always helpful, never angry. She tries to be the warmest person in order to keep any dark thoughts from appearing. His super ability is creating light, how ever, he can intensify the light from lighting the way to blinding someone permanently. He still hasnt quite mastered that but he's working on it. His favorite sport is football because this helps to take out his aggression he feels from his parents. He's best friends with one of your guy charries.

Reggie or Reginald Palmer the third, 16. He's impulsive and was raised in a very proper and yet very abusive and strict household. His family has been involved in the school for centuries. Reggie doesn't let anyone in on his family, just what they see from the outside and assume from a wealthy kid. He can come across arrogant or rude because no one has really gotten to know who he really is. His main ability is time, he's a seer but he can also manipulate time but that really takes a toll on him. So he doesn't use it as often as he did in this youth. In a lot of the academic clubs and sports teams. Leslie Morrows, 17. She's new to the school, having been sent here to get ahold of powers she was unaware of until recently. Which puts her at a disadvantage with some of the other kids, who look at her as weaker. Since they've been practicing and aware of their powers since usually birth or somewhere in childhood. She was with her boyfriend at the time and he ended up in the ICU. Leslie's power is something to do with dark, cold matter. Sometimes shadow creatures. Leslie now is really weird about anyone touching her or getting too close to her, so she keeps her distance. Not the best for making friends in a new school. Sung-Hoo Kim, 17 (Or just Sung) he could be the best friend for Aoi or any of the others would work too! He's the one with psychokinesis or tele. So he can read minds, control things with his mind, shift thoughts or perception and more. But he's very outgoing and kind. Some people know about his powers and sometimes he pretends like he's just there to learn from everyone else and doesn't have a power. He is really good friends with everyone but only close to his inner circle. He's never know his parents and so that makes him kind of emotionally unavailable to other people.
